About Mindful Moms

Mindful Moms of Brooklyn
Mom & Baby Group
Why do I need to join a mom & baby group?
New moms tend to push their own needs aside and very easily become isolated and feel overwhelmed. As you prepare for your little one to arrive don’t forget to have a plan in place so that you can receive the caring and support you will very much need. Our professionally led mother & baby group will provide you with a comfortable place to bring baby and ensure that you continue to nourish yourself as you learn to nourish baby.
Mindful Moms is designed by Charlotte Malkmus, LMHC and Karen Rosen, LCSW, two therapists/moms with a down to earth style who are excited to be a part of this very unique time in the life of your family. We will help you create the support and space you need to face the challenges of the hardest job you’ll ever do with the least amount of sleep!
What can I expect at Mindful Mom group sessions?
  • Be invited to share the joys, pains, and anxieties of new mommyhood in a comfortable space with your baby.
  • Meet other new moms in the neighborhood and join in a conversation that will help you discover the parenting style that works best for you and your family.
  • Create friendships that will decrease the feelings of isolation that can accompany new mommyhood and will sustain you on your journey through parenthood.
  • Process your birth experience and its impact on your mind and body.
